Operating Instructions for Cotton Candy Machine
Welcome to the sweet world of cotton candy! Follow these simple steps to create delicious, fluffy cotton candy with our Cotton Candy Machine.
Step 1: Setup
- Place the cotton candy machine on a stable, flat surface near a power outlet.
- Attach the round metal basin to the top of the machine to catch the cotton candy.
Step 2: Adding Flossugar
- Take your container of Flossugar and open it carefully. Please note that if you elected to use your own customer supplies, unfortunately there is nothing we can do to assist with any troubleshooting you may require for the unit to function properly. No refunds will be given if the unit does not operate properly without the purchase of the materials Torkay Event Services offers as they are specifically designed to be used with the machine. - Using the provided long handled small ladle, pour the flossugar into the center of the machine's heating cup. The provided ladle will measure for you the correct amount and prevent overfilling. Use caution when handling hot surfaces to avoid burns.
Step 2: Preparing the Machine
- Plug in the machine, and with the paper cone in hand ready to go, turn on the motor switch. Machine takes approximately 2-3 to start expelling floss from the center heating element around the edges of the main metal ring basin.
Step 4: Making Cotton Candy
- Hold a cotton candy stick in one hand and use the other hand to twirl it around the spinning head, collecting the cotton candy as it forms.
- Continue twirling the stick until you've gathered enough cotton candy. For larger servings, twirl the stick more slowly; for smaller servings, twirl it more quickly.
- Once you've finished making cotton candy, switch off the motor and wait for the spinning head to come to a complete stop.
Step 5: Serving and Enjoying
- Repeat the process as needed to create more cotton candy delights!
Step 6: Cleaning
- After use, switch off and unplug the machine.
- Allow the machine to cool completely.
- Never immerse the machine in water or other liquids to clean. We clean and sanitize our units after each rental, but we kindly ask you to remove any clumps of cotton candy floss and we will take care of the rest.
Step 7: Safety
- This cotton candy machine has fast spinning parts and a heating element. Both can pose significant burns and/or injury so please take caution. No one under the age of 18 is allowed to operate this machine and customers take full responsibility for any injuries that may occur. Torkay Event Services LLC shall not be held liable for any injury that may occur so operate at your own risk.
